In a protective arrangement, e.g. for an electric motor, in which a temperature-dependent resistor 11 controls the operation of a relay 6 through a transistor 5, a voltage-stabilizing zener diode 9 prevents incorrect operation due to induced voltages in the leads to the resistor 11. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,103,700.
