Abstract

1,239,039. Filter mask. SOC. ANON. SEPLAST. 21 Oct., 1968 [13 Feb., 1968], No. 49907/68. Heading A5T. A filter mask comprises a body 1 of gaspermeable material shaped to fit over the nose, an inner edge lining 3 of resilient material positioned so as to form a seal between the mask and the face, and a pliable strip (2), Fig. 2 (not shown) lying between the material and the lining 3 in the region which contacts the bridge of the nose. The lining 3 may be wider in the region 3a which contains the strip. An elastic band 4 is used to hold the mask in place.
