Abstract

1,236,803. Defoaming liquids. FUJI SHASHIN FILM K.K. 18 June, 1968 [14 Aug., 1967], No. 28947/68. Heading B1M. Liquid introduced at 14 is ultrasonically defoamed by passing over ultrasonically vibrating base plate 11 which is at an angle of 10-30‹ to the horizontal. Baffles 16, 17, 18, 19 are at an angle of 60‹-80‹ or 100‹- 150‹ to plate 11. The arrangement of the baffles causes the liquid to flow away from plate 11 at an acute angle to the plate.
