Abstract

1,230,561. Switchboards. GEORGE ELLISON Ltd. 27 March, 1968 [16 March, 1967], No. 12388/67. Heading H1N. [Also in Division H2] A laminated bus-bar assembly, for connecting circuit breakers (not shown) to a three-phase supply comprises two flat conductors 10, 11, Fig. 3, mounted in an insulating, coplanar gasket 12; the whole being sandwiched between a pair of insulating layers 13, 14, Fig. 2. A rectangular conductor 15, is similarly mounted in a gasket and sandwiched between insulating layers 14, 17. Conducting stems 18, secured to finger portions 10a, 11a of the conductors 10, 11, and stems 19, secured to the rectangular conductor 15, thread holes in the assembly and are provided with threaded bores to receive terminal screws of the circuit breakers. Three bosses 20, secured to the conductors 10, 11 and 15 respectively connect the supply to the conductors. The members 18, 19, 20 may be brazed or silver soldered to their respective conductors. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,030,283.
