Abstract

1,230,496. Active filters. RFT MESSELEKTRONIK DRESDEN VEB. 29 April, 1969, No. 21744/69. Heading H3W. An active filter comprising an amplifier V with a negative feedback path including a bridged T network is characterized in that a star network Z x , Z y , Z z is provided with its outer terminals connected to the star point of the T network c, and inverting and non inverting inputs of the amplifier a, b and the filter input is connected to the star point of this network c. The impedances in the star and bridged-T networks are capacitors and resistor which may be arranged as shown in Fig. 1, alternatively the resistors and capacitors may be interchanged Fig. 2 (not shown). The inverting and non inverting inputs to the amplifier may be provided by employing a two stage amplifier and connecting the impedances Z y , Z z to different stages Figs. 3a, 3b (not shown). In a further modification Fig. 5 (not shown) the bridging impedance of the T network in the feedback path is constituted by a further CR T network, the impedance Z x being connected to the star point of this further network. Any arrangement of capacitors and resistors may be used in this further T network Fig. 4 (not shown).
