Abstract

Each gripper arm 4 of a gripper device mounted on a lift truck comprises a plate member 5 formed with downwardly-diverging portions 9 to which is secured a channel-section member 10 provided with a resilient loadengaging pad 11. A flange 7 is secured to the top of the arm whereby the arm may be secured to the gripper device. Strengthening ribs 9a are provided on the rear surfaces of the portions 9.
