Abstract

1,228,105. Take-apart toy. S. A. TARRSON. 20 May, 1969 [28 March, 1969], No. 25549/69. Heading A6S. A take-apart toy in the form of a boat is made up of a plurality of separate individual toys which may be used for sand moulding, and comprises (i) a pail 10 in the form of a ship's hull, (ii) a shovel 16 supported by and adapted to fit within the pail, (iii) a sieve 21, which when inverted embraces the sides of the hull and simulates a deck plate, (iv) a rake 26 the handle of which, when inverted, passes through a hole 25 in the deck plate and forms the mast of the boat, and (v) a leveller or paddle 29, which is adapted to fit on the rake and simulates a sail. The various components are preferably made of durable, non-toxic, plastics material of sufficient buoyancy to permit floating of the boat in water.
