The subject-matter is identical with that of the parent Specification, but the claims are directed to an indexing tube including a tetrode gun in which the first grid has a non-rotationsymmetrical opening, i.e. an elliptical opening, with the major and minor axes of the opening respectively parallel and orthogonal to the phosphor strips of the target.
