A document filing jacket comprises a backing sheet 1, a facing sheet 2 and intermediate sheets 15, 16 to form compartments 18, 19, 20, each of the sheets 1, 15 and 20 having a corresponding cut-out portion 23, 22, 21, respectively, and the facing sheet 2 bearing a pocket 10 for accommodating a titling strip 11 and guide lines 24-26 leading from a portion of the pocket 10 to a corresponding cut-out 21, 22, or 23. The jacket may be open along two sides, as shown, or along one side only (Fig. 2, not shown). The jacket is formed of transparent plastics material welded at the seams. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 852,942.
