Sewing-machines; feed by dogs. - In stitchregulating and reversing mechanism of the kind wherein there is employed a forked member a connected to the feed rock-shaft c and reciprocated by a cam b, such member being pivotally mounted on a link d pivoted on a control lever e, or such member being pivoted in the slot of a rotatable block, the control lever is provided with an abutment f<1> to engage an adjustable stop g, this abutment being convex towards the stop. The stop comprises a. pin having therein a helical slot g<2> engaged by a set-screw h which causes the pin to move axially when rotated, and also serves to clamp it. In a modification, Fig. 6, the abutment f<1> is fixed and the stop-pin g is mounted in the lever arm e<3> by which the position of the pivot of the member a is regulated.
