Abstract

1,223,229. Pontoons. E. STEHR. 24 Feb., 1969, No. 9717/69. Heading B7A. A raft comprises at least one layer of rectangular buoyant units 1 either arranged so that the units are all parallel to each other or so that some are parallel to each other whilst others are perpendicular to them, the units having interengaging horizontal tongues 6 and grooves 5. The units are connected together by buoyant coupling elements 3 extending vertically through holes 4 in the tongues and grooves. (For Figures see next page.)
