Abstract

1,222,172. Acetylene black treated with Ag salts. SONY CORP. 4 April, 1968 [5 April, 1967], No. 16271/68. Heading C1A. [Also in Division H1] Acetylene black is coated by mixing it with an acetone solution of AgNO 3 , drying the mixture, mixing the residue with aq. Na 2 CO 3 , decanting, washing and drying. The black may be moulded with a hydrophobic polymer to give an electrode (see Division H1).
