Abstract
1,220,801. Navigation. J. R. NARBAITSJAUREGUY. 19 May, 1966. Addition to 1,207,951. No. 22416/66. Heading H4D. The system shown in Fig. 5 of the parent Specification is modified in that the light beams 20, 21 emitted by the projectors 18, 19 are made to converge or diverge in front of the aerodyne and the bisectrix 25 of the beams is stabilized in accordance with the observation axis of the T.V. camera 8. The angle between the beams is variable and a plurality of scales is provided on the monitor screen corresponding to the different angles, the height of the aerodyne above the ground being determined by noting the positions on the appropriate scale of the images of the two light spots 23, 24 produced on the ground by the beams 20, 21.
