Abstract

1,219,151. Automatic voltage control. AUTOVILLAMOSSAGI FELSZERELESEK GYARA. April 25, 1968 [Sept. 4, 1967], No.19746/68. Heading G3R. A power supply system, e.g. for a motor vehicle, comprises an alternator having a stator 2 associated with a main rectifier 3 connected to supply a battery 12 and other loads, the alternator field winding 6 being energized from the main rectifier 3 by way of a regulator 15 which correctively controls the field current, in dependence upon output voltage variations in response to a control signal which is derived from an auxiliary rectifier 4 and which is applied to the regulator at terminal 18. The regulator 15, Fig.3, (not shown) may include a switchingtransistor whichis inseries with the field winding 6 and whichis controlled by a Schmitt trigger constituted by two further transistors.
