Abstract

1,218,552. Tractor power lift linkages. CAM GEARS (LUTON) Ltd. 25 June, 1968 [28 June, 1967], No. 29896/67. Heading A1P. For draft and position control in a tractor three-point linkage a lower link 2 is pivoted on a crank 6 so that it can move longitudinally of the tractor against a biasing spring 7. A bell crank extension 2A of the link engages an operating lever 16 for a valve 13 controlling ram 11. The other end of lever 16 is controlled manually by lever 17. For draft control the horizontal draft force in the link 2 is sensed and transmitted to the valve by longitudinal movement of the link. For position control the angular movement of the link operates the valve via crank 2A. In embodiments the signals operating the lever 16 are derived from an upper link or else from the lift arms operated by the ram.
