Abstract
1,209,759. Hydrofoil craft. D. Z. BAILEY. 30 Nov., 1967 [2 Dec., 1966], No. 54603/67. Heading B7A. Hydrofoil 14b of a watercraft is attached at its ends to transversely separated support members 18a, 18b of the watercraft, the length of the hydrofoil being greater than the lateral spacing of the supports and the hydrofoil has an upwardly bowed arcuate shape during foil barne operation. In the embodiment shown a hydrofoil 14 is in three portions 14a, 14b, 14c each spaced between a pair of support members.
