Axle-trucks and bogies.- Road or railway vehicles are provided with supplementary wheels mounted on eccentrics on the axles with a pin-andslot driving connexion between the main and supplementary wheels. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the supplementary wheel b, slotted at k tu receive a driving pin h on the main wheel a, is rotatably mounted on an eccentric c fitted on a bush f on the axle e. The eccentric is adjusted, to transfer the load from one to the other of the wheels a, b, by means of the worm gear l, m, n. In the modification shown in Fig. 6, the supplementary wheel consists of a single wide roller z mounted between the main wheels b and having a pin-and-slot drive z<2> with a disk z<1> fixed to the axle d. In a further modification, the relative adjustment of the wheels is effected by linkage operated from a sliding collar on the axle. The supplementary wheel may bo resiliently mounted, as shown in Fig. 5, by interposing a helical spring x between the eccentric c and the axle d.
