[Also in Division A5] N - 4 - bromo - 3 - chlorophenyl - N<SP>1</SP> - methyl- N<SP>1</SP>-methoxyurea is prepared by brominating 3 - chlorophenyl - N<SP>1</SP> - methoxy - N<SP>1</SP> - methylurea in a solvent, e.g. glacial acetic acid. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 965,313.
