Abstract

1,205,980. Field effect transistor switches. MULLARD Ltd. 23 Nov., 1967, No. 53345/67. Heading H3T. A MOST field effect transistor switch or gate has its substrate connected to a datum level such as earth through a capacitor only. This capacitor prevents transmission between source and drain through the series path comprising the capacitances between these two electrodes and the substrate. Diode action between source or drain and the substrate will produce a D.C. voltage at the substrate.
