1,205,783. Blow-moulding. LOVENS KEMISKE FABRIK PRODUKTIONSAKTIESELSKAB. 27 Sept., 1967 [28 Sept., 1966], No. 44059/67. Heading B5A. Hollow objects e.g. saliva ejectors &c. are produced by blow-moulding from a tubular blank or pair of sheets by closing on to the blank the outer, border sections of a blow-mould, inflating the tube to contact the surfaces of the inner mould sections which are then closed to delimit the article and weld the edges and removing waste material. An opening is provided in the weld line so that the interior of the moulded article communicates with the cavity of the waste section and also hollow projections are moulded on the article. These projections may be removed e.g. on removing from the mould or immediately prior to use to form openings.
