Abstract

1,205,203. Electric selective systems. SIEMENS A.G. 28 Jan., 1969 [2 Feb., 1968], No. 4737/69. Heading G4H. To prevent the generation of a hybrid signal should two keys of a keyboard be operated simultaneously, a generated signal is written in a store within 2Á-sec. of the start of the signal. Depression of a key charges a corresponding capacitor which outputs a pulse 2-3Á-sec. long to a diode matrix, resulting in an n-bit parallel signal. The signal is passed to storage bi-stables via gates. The leading edge of the signal causes the generation of a pulse which inhibits the gates after a period less than 2Á-sec.
