A process for the purification of peroxyamine oil (containing mainly 1,1<SP>1</SP>-peroxydicyclohexylamine and cyclohexanone) comprises bringing the peroxyamine oil into intimate contact with water, separating the purified peroxyamine oil phase from an aqueous phase and recovering the oil.
