Abstract
1,204,802. Sintered TiC alloy. FORD MOTOR CO. Ltd. (Ford Motor Co.). Jan.31, 1968, No.4892/68. Heading C7A. A sintered alloy, suitable for use in cutting tools, consists essentially of:- Mo and/or MoC about 10% and Ni about 22À4%, the balance being TiC, which is free of dissolved Mo and MoC, and is bound in a binding alloy of the other components. The alloy is free of detrimental quantities of nitrides and oxides. An exemplary composition consists of:- TiC 67% Ni 22À4% Mo 10% Graphite 0À6%
