120,375. Good. J. Oct. 9, 1917. [Convention date]. Lighting burners by electric devices. - In an enclosed, forceddraught heating-apparatus, of the type described in Specification 107,571, [Class 75 (i), Burners &c.], the single source of air employed tor atomizing the fuel and for affecting its combustion, is supplied at low or moderate pressure by an electrically-driven rotary fanblower &c. The spray is ignited by a spark produced at the terminals 13 by the closing of the switch 2 of the motor 1 which drives the fan 3. The terminals are made somewhat longer than usual, and one or both are bent, as shown, to avoid shortcircuiting by drops of fuel.
