[Also in Division C2] A lithium phosphate catalyst is regenerated by treatment with a mixture of a free oxygencontaining gas and steam at 220-250‹C followed by treatment at 360-370‹C, the temperature being raised from one range to the other over a period of 4 to 5 hours.
