Abstract

1,203,517. Valves. MKT-TEHTAAT OY. 28 March, 1968, No. 14873/68. Heading F2V. Following rotation of stem 7 to disengage groove 11 therein from flange 12, the stem can be axially withdrawn to unseat closure member 9 and allow flow to outlet 3. The closure member can alternatively be in the form of a ball or a cone. Seat 2 is formed by swaging, and the force exerted thereagainst by the closure member can be varied by repositioning flange 12.
