In a reflective road stud the reflectors are carried by an interchangeable annular element j removably retained on a dependant tongue e of a resilient domed insert d loose in a rigid casing the insert having two flattened 0 leg units f and four guide slots m engaged by fixed projections b. The clearance between the insert and the housing allows it to be casted or dragged forward by passing traffic. The drawings show two forms of casing, one having slightly raised edges a2, the other having high ramped edges a1. The insert d carries reflector-wiping sponges g and when depressed seats on two raised floor portions c.
