The output from a multicavity magnetron is taken from two or more symmetrically disposed cavities. The coupling-out cavities are preferably arranged to be #/4 apart in phase, and may receive the inner conductors of respective coaxial output lines which may themselves be coupled to waveguides (Figs. 5 and 6, not shown).
