[Also in Divisions F2 and G4] A turnstile mechanism having barrier arms rotatable through a predetermined arcuate path to permit passage of a person causing such rotation, comprises a hub 13 inclined at 45‹ to the vertical and carrying three barrier arms 15 each inclined at 45‹ to the hub axis and resiliently connected to a toothed plate 21 having mounted thereon three rollers 32, 37, 41. A dashpot type damping system is associated (Division G4).
