In a pressure gauge having a Bourdon tube assembly comprising a first Bourdon tube 4 connected to a source of pressure to be measured, such as the oil in an oil filled cable, via a tube 6, and a second tube 5 sealed in the evacuated state, the tubes 4, 5 are connected by rods 8, 10 to a lever 9, provided with a pen 11 engaged in a slot 12 in a lever 13, in such a manner that the inputs to the linkages in response to environment temperature and/or pressure changes are equal and opposite and do not effect movement of a pointer due to such changes.
