1,199,840. Vibrating apparatus. NEW BRUNSWICK SCIENTIFIC CO. Inc. 10 Dec., 1968, No. 58574/68. Heading B8A. [Also in Division B1] Shaken apparatus comprises a platform 10 for carrying a load to be shaken, idler eccentrics 22 for supporting the structure on a base 12 adapted to rest on a horizontal surface without being fastened thereto, and a shaft 16 provided with counterbalance weights 32, 34 and an upper eccentric journal 20 which on rotation causes the load to be shaken.
