Abstract

1,198,789. Spray producers. LABORATOIRE PHAGOGENE. 20 March, 1969 [25 March, 1968], No. 14789/69. Heading B2F. A device for producing aerosol mists comprises a container 1 for the liquid L, blowing means 3, 4 for forming a mist of liquid particles from said liquid, an electric motor M for driving said blowing means, a housing 7 for said motor, a first chamber C for stabilising said mist, said stabilising first chamber 'being defined between said housing and a first dome 16 disposed around said housing, and a second external dome 19 defining with the first dome a second annular chamber C2. A starting capacitor 15 for the electric motor and electrical components may be located in the second annular chamber. The first chamber may contain a baffle 16A to separate over large liquid particles, and above the outlet from the first chamber there Imay be means to enhance liquid dispersion, e.g. electric heating resistances 9 surmounted by a baffle 20 or a baffle surmounted by a turbine blower driven by an auxilliary motor.
