Abstract

1,195,969. Screen construction. TRELLEBORGS GUMMIFABRIKS A.B. 11 March, 1969 [14 March, 1968], No. 12796/69. Heading B2H. A screen oomprises two crossed .sets of rods 11, 12 and 13, 14 having surfaces of natural or synthetic rubber, the rods being provided with projections 22, 25 which interlock to fix the relative positions of the crossed sets forming a lattice, and the .rods of at least one set 11, 12 being reniforced so that the screen is self-supporting. Some rods 14 of the other set Imay also contain reinforcing members 26. The reinforcing members (15, 19, 20) (Fig. 2, not shown) may accommodate bolts (27) which fasten the two sets together. The screen is mounted on a bracket (30) and clamped in position with a rubber strip (32). The screws may be mounted either in abutting end-to-end relation or at successively lower levels in the screening direction.
