Abstract

1,195,534. Packages. J. RAE. 7 July, 1967 [18 July, 1966], No. 32216/66. Heading B8C. A drug package comprising at least two different pharmaceutical preparations, e.g. in tablet form, is so arranged that the composition of each is in a predetermined ratio to the other and the preparations are removable in a predetermined order. The different preparations may include respectively an active drug and an inactive placebo; or an active drug and a weaker composition of the same or a different drug. The ratio of the first to the second preparations may be 4 : 1 to 1 : 4. The second preparation may appear at a regular interval or its frequency be increased through the package. The pack may be formed of two sheets 1, 2 sealed together, each preparation being numbered as at 4 and divided from adjacent preparations by lines of weakness in the package. The package may be of spiral form.
