Abstract

1,195,331. Discharging static electricity. DETEXOMAT Ltd. 8 Jan., 1969 [11 Jan., 1968], No. 1652/68. Heading H1X. The A.C. corona discharge points 11 in an electrostatic eliminator for treating lightsensitive material 14 e.g. photographic film are mounted in a box 12 provided with a member 17 for shielding the film 14 from the light of the discharge, and an opening 16 adjacent which is provided an earthing member 15. The box 12 is made of black insulating material, e.g. P.V.C.
