Lith-type materials comprise a supported silver halide emulsion layer and contain together in the emulsion or an adjacent layer (1) a pyrazolone of formula: (in which R is acylamino, arylamino, alkyl, aryl or aralkyl, and X is H, carboxyl or SO 3 H), and (2) a condensation product of an alkylene oxide with either itself, water, aglycol, aphenol, a hexitol anhydride, or an aliphatic monohydric alcohol, acid or amine.
