1,193,284. Lamps. E. GISMONDI and S. MAZZA, [trading as " STUDIO ARTEMIDE S.a.S. DI E. GISMONDI & C."]. 3 Aug., 1967 [5 Aug., 1966], No. 35623/67. Heading F4R. A table or wall lamp comprises a base 1 carrying a light source 15 and supporting two globe members 8, 9 one inside the other, each having an aperture and being mounted for relative rotation. The base 1 consists of outer and inner shells 1a 1b carried by a support 2a and enclosing two cylindrical guide bushes 4, 5 provided with flanges and ball bearings arranged in grooves in the flanges to facilitate their relative rotation. The globes 8, 9 are secured in grooves 6, 7 in the parts 4 and 5 respectively. Each globe has an aperture for light emission and the inner globe 8 may be highly reflecting internally. The globes may be opaque or translucent.
