Abstract

1,192,545. Adhesive tapes. ADHESIVE TAPES Ltd. 12 May, 1967 [1 June, 1966], No. 24432/66. Heading B2E. A pressure-sensitive, adhesive web comprises a water-permeable paper having a coating of polyethylene or polypropylene and a top coat of a natural rubber-based adhesive. The paper may be Kraft paper. The polyethylene coat may be applied at 12 to 24 gm./sqm. by extrusion, or insolution or dispersion and may be treated by corona discharge before application of the adhesive.
