Abstract
1,191,521. Programmed electric control. TELEFUNKEN PATENT VERWERTUNGS G. m. b. H. July 5, 1967 [Aug. 6, 1966], No.30969/67. Heading G3N. Conductors 2, 3 arranged mutually perpendicularly one capacitively coupled at the crossing points to which a potential may be selectively applied. In one embodiment, an electrode is capacitively coupled to each conductor at each point and connected selectively to a high frequency source, each set of conductors being scanned by a selector switch until it finds a point having the source voltage impressed thereon. The outputs from the switches are stored in the form of a coded programme. The conductors are insulated from each other by a flexible medium preferably of high dielectric constant. The arrangement may have a perforated cover plate 5. The arrangement may be produced by printed circuit techniques. An optical device projecting a drilling diagram on to the arrangement may facilitate correct setting up.
