1,188,723. Resiliently mounted seats. ZKL ZAVODY NA VALIVA LOZISKA A TRAKTORY NARODNI PODNIK. 29 Aug., 1967 [29 Aug., 1966], No. 39439/67. Heading A4U. In a pneumatic suspension for a tractor seat, an air chamber is formed between a domed seat supporting plate (12) and a flexible diaphragm 10 and a seat mounting frame (6) has an annular diaphragm support 16, which is clamped to plate (12) to seal the edges of the diaphragm. The frame (6) is formed with fixed depending arms, pivoted to the links 2, 3 of a parallelogram linkage. The diaphragm is additionally supported by the conical skirt of piston 9, when this is in its upper range of travel. Rubber blocks 4 and 5 provide cushioning in the extreme upper and lower positions of the seat.
