Abstract

118,744. Burnett, G. Nov. 15, 1917. Clocks combined with flower stands; dials and time indicators. -Consists of a stand for flower pots combined with a clock by which it is actuated so as to turn all parts of the plants successively towards the light. The disk C on which the pot is placed is supported on a central spindle K mounted in ball bearings L and connected by a movable slotted ferrule G to a cross pin F fixed in the clock spindle E. The circumference of the disk C is graduated to show minutes. A kicker N is secured to the underside of the disk C and operates pins O at the back of a vertical dial Q graduated to indicate hours, so that the dial Q is rotated to show the hour bv means of a fixed pointer R. Auxiliary disks C<1>, C<2> may be mounted at each side of the disk C and operated by belt or other gearing from the central disk.
