Abstract

1,187,423. Parachutes. BEKLEIDUNGSWERKE SEIFHENNERSDORF VEB. 29 June, 1967, No. 30106/67. Heading B7G. A gliding parachute comprises a front panel 1 of air impermeable material providing the main support to the shroud lines and a rear stabilizing panel 2 of air-permeable material attached at 4 to panel 1 and retained in a looped form as shown in Fig. 2 by extensions of the shrouds 3 which are attached to the panels at points 4 and 10. The panels are shaped to form side panels 6 and a transverse slot may be provided at the junction of the front and rear panels.
