Abstract

1,186,882. Brackets. WALKER CROSWELLER & CO. Ltd. 14 Feb., 1968 [14 Feb., 1967], No. 6996/67. Heading A4B. [Also in Division B2] A wall mounted fitting for adjustably supporting a combined handgrip and spray nozzle (24) comprises a base plate 1 carrying a pair of pillars 11, 12, a rocker 2 disposed between the pillars 11, 12 with integral, axially aligned spigots 17, 18 journalled in the ends of slots 13, 14 in the pillars 11, 12, a pocket 22 in the front of the rocker 2 to detachably receive a projection (23) on the handgrip (24), and parallel grooves 19 in the rear of the rocker 2 which selectively engage a rib 21 on the base 1 to resiliently hold the rocker 2 in any one of a plurality of angular positions relative to the base 1. In a modification the grooves 19 and rib 21 may respectively comprise ribs and a groove. A pair of slots 8 in the base 1 define between them a plate 10 which resiliently bears on the rear of the rocker 2. A cover 3 with a front opening 26 has diametrically opposed lips 25 which are a snap fit on the base 1. The interior of the cover 3 carries a pair of cheeks 27 which prevent flexing apart of the pillars 11, 12 when the cover 3 is fitted.
