Abstract

1,184,505. Box signs. BRILLIANT SIGNS Ltd. 16 Dec., 1968 [27 Feb., 1968], No. 9310/68. Heading G5C. The casing of a box sign has sides 29a, 30 of extruded material with mitred ends 31; the indicia panel P is removable, being trapped between a flange 29 and a hollow beading 21 which snaps into place in a seating 20a. (In Fig. 4 these beadings are shown as 32, 32a.) As described, the sign may be double-sided, a similar panel-retaining beading (not shown) being provided at the back opening; or, as shown, singlesided, the opaque back being permanently fastened to inwardly-directed flanges 16. The four extruded side sections are secured to each other by internal corner brackets.
