Abstract
1,183,552. Stator winding apparatus. ELEKTROMAT VEB. 11 Jan., 1968, No. 1591/68. Heading B3A. Apparatus for inserting coils into stator grooves includes a supporting device 1 for the stator, a reciprocable wire guiding member 4 and at least one pair of hook-shaped swivel arms 6, which are mounted on either side of the device 1 by two housings 3. The housings are movable relative to the guiding member 4 and means are provided to give a radial movement of the swivel arms, which are each provided with a wire guiding device 7 facing the open sides of the hooks of the swivel arms. The end turns of the coils are formed around the hooks, which are raised and the housings 3 rotated to align the next slot to be wound with the member 4. During this rotary movement which may be in either direction the wire is guided either by the swivel arm 6 or the device 7, and hence it will not slip off the hook.
