A device for limiting bending, at a point where a cable/wire enters a rigid casing, comprises a number of washer-like members, e.g. discs, disposed at fixed distances from each other and coaxially to the cable/wire beginning at the entry point. Spacers 4 may be disposed between the discs, and the discs and spacers may be cast together on the wire. As shown, the discs 3 and spacers 4 are integral with a cover 5, of thermoplastics material, on the casing 2.
