A sealing strip for sealing the joinder crack between e.g. two glass building components, has a section of V-form in which the free ends 2 of the arms are thicker than the remainder of the section, which may be straight on the outer side but concave on the inner side and may have semi-circular recesses 3. The thinner portions are set back towards the outer sides of the arms.
