Abstract
1,179,467. Hydraulic motor control circuits. ROBERT BOSCH G.m.b.H. March 3, 1967 [March 4, 1966], No.10112/67. Heading F1P. Apparatus for controlling two or more say three actuators (not shown) independently or simultaneously comprises individual three-position neutral-centre spool valves in blocks 2, 3 and 4 each of which in its central neutral position shuts off at least one service chamber 25, 27 and in its two operating positions connects said service chamber to a pressure inlet chamber 26 or to a drain chamber 28, and the inlet chamber 26 of each valve is connected to a common supply duct 52 through a dual-purpose valve 8 having a hollow spool 51 biassed to a closed position by a spring 53 within an end chamber in the valve bore 50 which end chamber is connected to the supply duct 52 through an orifice 62 and throttle 64 in the spool 57 and is connected to drain through control conduits 60, 31 and through a recess 36 in the spool 24 of valve 2 when the latter is in neutral, whereby when valve spool 51 is displaced to the position shown against spring 53 by pressure from supply duct 52 the valve 8 serves to unload the supply pressure through drain chambers 28 of valves 2, 3, 4 and when valve 2 is operated the resulting rise in pressure in the spring chamber of bore 50 partly closes valve 8 thereby reducing flow to drain whilst passing a predetermined constant flow through orifice 62 and aperture 63 to the inlet chamber 26 of valve 2. The spool 24 of each valve 3, 4 also includes a recess 36 which in the neutral position connects a chamber 18 of a change over valve 10 to drain 9 through passages 19, 31, 59, 20. With valve 2 in neutral and one or both valves 3, 4 in either end position, a pressure rise in chamber 18 causes piston 17 of valve 10 to close the connection 15 to drain 9 whereon the whole of the supply fluid from duct 52 passes to the inlet chambers 26 of valves 3, 4. With valve 2 operative and one or both valves 3, 4 operative said constant flow is passed through valve 2 and the residual flow is passed through one or both valves 3, 4.
