Abstract

1,177,249. Non-metallic tubes. WAVIN N.V. 9 March, 1967 [11 March, 1966], No. 11250/67. Heading F2P. [Also in Division B2] A high impact grade polyvinyl chloride tube has at least one layer of fibre reinforced and thermo-cured resin on the outer surface thereof. The fibre reinforcement may be of glass fibre and the thermo-cured resin may be a polyester or an epoxy resin. Two layers of fibre reinforced thermo-cured resin may be applied with an additional layer of a plastics material therebetween. This additional layer may be of a foamed plastics material and may contain a filler.
