Abstract

1,175,796. Take-apart toy. S. A. TARRSON. 21 May, 1968, No. 24250/68. Heading A6S. A take-apart toy consists of a pail, 10, with a handle, 15, together with a detachable lid, 19, simulating a hat, which may act as a funnel when detached and inverted; a detachable base 30, simulating a collar and tie, which is a riddle when detached, and a detachable shovel 23, simulating a nose and mouth. Fanciful eyes and eyebrows may be moulded integrally with the pail so that the parts, when assembled, simulate a fanciful face. The riddle, 30, fits the base by a friction fit, the cap has a lip which fits inside the rim of the pail, and the shovel, 23, has a hook on its back which fits into a recess in the top edge of the pail, and the bottom end of the shovel fits onto a lip on the side of the pail.
